The UK government has made the decision to close schools indefinitely to prevent COVID-19 from spreading to the major centres.


With his country now counting 104 dead, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, announced that schools in the United Kingdom will shut their doors on Friday afternoon and will not open until further notice. The exemption to this rule are children that belong to vulnerable groups or whose parents work in essential services such as healt, police and transport. The schools will serve as childcare for these children while their parents are at work.
