Coronavirus marks 30 cases in Australia

New cases of COVID-19 (coronavirous) have appeared in NSW, Tasmania and Victoria, as the 78 year old Australian who lost his life to the virus is identified as James Kwan.


James Kwan left his last breath at Sir Charles Hospital, Sunday Morning. He and his wife, Theresa among the Australians onboard the Diamond Princess Cruise ship, and had been moved to a facility at Howard Springs, close to Darwin. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Australia has reached 30 incidents, including the death of James Kwan.  The latest cases concern a man in Tasmania, a woman in Victoria, and a man and a woman in NSW. All four came to Australia from Iran.

Australian authorities have updated their travel advice for Italy, while Australians returning from Italy and South Korea and who work in healthcare or aged care, have been told not to return to work.
