Cyprus records first death from coronavirus, Greece reaches 13 dead

COVID-19 has claimed its first victim in Cyprus, while has recorded 3 more deaths.


On Saturday, local time, the Ministry of Health of Cyprus announced the first death in the country from COVID-19. The victim was a 70 year old man who had chronic health issues.

The number of confirmed cases in the country has jumped to 84.

Meanwhile, Greece recorded 3 more deaths due to the pandemic, raising the number of victims up to 13.

The dead are two males and a female, all elderly and with underlying health problems.

Greece currently numbers 530 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
