The wildfires that have been raging since 03 July afternoon in Cyprus' Limassol district and spreading to Larnaca communities are the most catastrophic since the establishment of the Republic of Cyprus.

The bushfires in Cyprus have forced the evacuation of people from endangered villages. Four Egyptians farm workers were found dead in an area outside the Community of Odou village on Sunday 04 July.
