Dr Fifis lambasts cronyism in community organisations

Dr Christos Fifis has spent almost two decades researching the history of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria.

The research involved from a doctoral thesis to a comprehensive book, in Greek, which offers insights into the workings and trajectory of the oldest Greek community organisation in Australia.

Dr Fifis spoke to SBS Greek about the challenges the Greek Community of Melbourne is facing, the mistakes of the past, the current reality, the strategy and the vision that needs to be captured and articulated.
