Queensland's amusement rides will be regularly inspected and Australia's first industrial-manslaughter laws introduced in response to last year's fatal accident at Dreamworld.
An overall review of the state's workplace health-and-safety laws has delivered critical findings, making 58 recommendations following 40 industrial deaths last year.
The proposed overhaul will include up to 20-year prison terms for company executives and millions of dollars in fines for corporations in cases involving deaths.
