Greece counts yet another victim of coronavirus, with the total tally so far being 102 dead. As the country approaches Easter Sunday, the authorities have warned that there will be no changes to the restrictions issued.
''The virus does not discriminate based on days. It does not know whether it's Easter or not'' said deputy minister for Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias.
Mr. Hardalias noted that any lifting of the restrictions will be done when the data collected by the authorities indicate it is safe to do so.

Cyprus moves to gradual lifting of restrictions
Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance of Cyprus, Constantinos Petrides, announced a plan that would see the gradual easing of the restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the pandemic, in order to restart the economy. The first stage includes the reoping of certain businesses in key sectors of the economy in the beginning of May.
