A centuries-old tradition migrates from Greece to Australia
Eleonora Raptakis was born in Australia but spent most of her life in Greece. Recently she made the big decision to re-locate to Antipodes. Along with her she brought the art of creating traditional but also modern handicrafts.

At a time when everything has been industrialized, Eleonora Raptaki tries to combine traditional techniques with modern designs and keep the unique handmade practice alive. At the same time, she carries her creative knowledge into a new continent, Australia.
