European Union leaders meeting in Brussels issued a statement rejecting a Turkey-Libya maritime border deal as invalid.
The EU statement says that the pact interferes with the rights of other countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea and declares solidarity with Greece.
It is what the Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis was aiming for at the summit.
