The European Union has warned Turkey it could face fresh sanctions unless progress is made in reducing soaring tensions with Greece and Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean.
The member states of the European Union have set a deadline of 24th of September for the situation in Eastern Mediterranean to be defused.
The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell presented a list of possible sanctions the block will consider if the deadline passes without any progress on the matter.
