Extreme weather causes havoc in Athens, Corfu, Ithaca

A wave of extreme weather conditions dubbed "Ballos" caused havoc in many parts of Greece, including capital Athens, forcing authorities to activate the Civil Protection plan to protect the population, to close schools, place restrictions in urban roads and force civil servants to work from home.
