Riot police is besieging Hong Kong's Polytechnic University where over 100 students are remaining inside the building. Hundreds of students managed to escape after police stormed the building and tens where arrested.

Riot police is besieging Hong Kong's Polytechnic University where over 100 students are remaining inside the building. Hundreds of students managed to escape after police stormed the building and tens where arrested.


Students fear for their lives as China warns that they will not hesitate to use real bullets against the pro democracy demonstrators. 

The world is watching the former British colony as the situation escalates while the 'new Tiananmen', as some have described the clashes in Hong Kong is unfolding. 

The EU, Britain and the US have expressed concern for the violation used against the students with China reacting swiftly to remind them not to interfere in China's internal affairs.
