This year, Festival Hellenica returns with a host of events, celebrating Hellenism in the Arts and their links to Australia. Among them there are two concerts: One dedicated to the memory of Cypriot composer, Marios Tokas and another about songs and music from Asia Minor and the Greek diaspora.

Mr Tassos Capetanakis is a contributor to the festival and also organizes the event «Music Hellenica». The event celebrates the life of famous composer Marios Tokas, not only with plenty of his music but also footage from interviews and photographs of his early years.

The second event is titled «In the Café Amans of Smyrna and Constantinople». The concert presents Marios Papadeas, a master of Santouri who accompanied by several local artists will perform traditional songs from Asia Minor and rebetika songs.
