Generations's co-producer Ajit Singh notes that the organisers decided to move the event in a more central location and they chose the Immigration Museum.
''This is the first time we are partnering with the Immigration Museum'' Mr. Singh said and added that the name of the event was changed to ''Generations'', after input from local artists and the community, in order to better reflect the generations of migrants who helped shape Melbourne's culture.
