Mr Giannakopoulos expressed his will that Panathinaikos will withdraw from Euroleague, in which he ha no trust at all. Instead, he wants Panathinaikos to join FIBA’s Basketball Champions League.
“Panathinaikos is for sale for 25 million euros, like I wrongly committed last year. We had not taken into account the value of this brand. According to valuators, just the value of the commercial brand reached 75 million euros. I’m not changing a single word. 25 million,” Mr. Giannakopoulos said.
He also revealed that he was planning a financial campaign in Australia last January for his project “PAO Live”.
However, his trip to Australia was cancelled to the disastrous fires that hit the country in the first month of the year.
