Government to refer Bob Day and Rob Culleton to High Court

Bod Day resigned yesterday amid concern over a conflict of interest regarding the rental arrangements on his electoral office. The government is believed to have been renting an electorate office for Senator Day in a building where he had financial links. The Senate is expected to ask the High Court next week to consider whether Mr Day was validly elected and if his arrangements breached the constitution.
