Greece secured an away victory against Moldova this morning and now will seek to beat Slovenia in Athens in order to climb to the first place of its group in the UEFA Nations league tournament.
The Greek team scored twice in the first half with Moldova (31’ Fortounis, 41st Mpakasetas).
It now plays Slovenia on Thursday morning (Australian time. Slovenia overcame Kosovo 2-1 in today’s other match.
Slovenia leads the table with 13 points, followed by Greece 11, Kosovo two and Moldova one.
