The confirmed number of deaths from the storm has so far been three, but there are reports of a fourth death in Kos.
The latest confirmed death by the storm Gyrionis was a woman in Rhodes, who was facing moving difficulties. The 75 year old was in her house when it flooded and did not manage to evacuate the property.
Her death follows that of two people on a sailing boat in Antirio, who died when the boat capsized.
There are reports of a fourth death, in the island of Kos, where the body of a 76 year old local woman was found at ''Psalidi'' Beach. The woman was a winter swimmer who appears to have defied the waves and went for a swim. Her body was found by her relatives who went to look for her when she was late. It is currently unknown whether she was drowned or died of other causes.
