The tourist season in Greece will start next month with hotels re-opening and international charter flights resuming in July.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis made the announcement in a televised address.
Mr Mitsotakis also announced a reduction in consumer taxes on transport from 24 to 13 per cent which will lead to cheaper ferry plane and bus tickets during the tourist season.
