A few days ago another Greek Association put a "padlock" on Melbourne.

Over the past few years, many of Greek associations have been serving the needs of the first-generation Greek immigrants, have close down. Some of them had remarkable assets.

Experts predict that this phenomenon will worsen in Australia, with the big question remaining what will happen to the assets of these associations and how should they be exploited?

The President of the Kokkinoplites Charity Society of Melbourne, "The 12 Gods of Olympus", Antonis Papazisis, spoke to SBS Greek, mentioning the reasons that led his association to the decision to shut down.
