Greece has recorded its second highest number of daily coronavirus cases, with more than half being in Attica.

Greek authorities announced 3 more deaths and 312 cases of coronavirus overnight, bring the total number of deaths in the country to 320.

174 of the new cases were recorded in Attica, giving rise to questions whether the area's intenisve care units will be able to handle an influx of patients.

''Whether the intevie care units are ''blocked'' will be something that depends on whether we will abide by the restrictions'' said to MEGA Channel, Anastasia Kotanidou, head of the commitee for coordinating and developing intensive care units.
