George Papalambridis was a commander of the Greek army during the Turkish invasion to Cyprus in 1974. He fought heroically and died instantly when he received a bullet in his head in an attempt to defend a hill in Pentadactylos. But his body remained there - in the lands that were "occupied". Decades after some of his remaining bones were collected and recognized. Now these bones will be repatriated to Greece, as his brother Yiannis Papalambridis revealed at SBS Greek program and Emma Papaemmanouel.
