Five Greek Australians have teamed up with fourteen players from the Greek Rugby League Association domestic league to begin the journey to qualify for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.
If the team is successful it will be the first time a Greece national side has qualified for the Rugby League World Cup.
“There has been and will be a huge effort to achieve our goal and it will be a great distinction as Greek National Team to qualify for the World Cup qualifiers, "said the federal coach of the Greek Rugby National Team, Michalis Hatziioannou.
