The speculation about the announcement of the new candidate for the Presidency in Greece, is coming to a head.
The Greek prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is still keeping his cards close to his chest, however the Government Spokesman, Stelios Petsas has confirmed that the announcement will be made in a few days, possibly next week.
The one thing that seems certain, according to information, is that the current President Prokopis Pavlopoulos will not be tapped for another term.
The other certainty according to Mr Petsas' statements is that the candidate will have to embody a wider political acceptance thus, standing as a symbol of national unity.
