Greek scientist received a "great gift” from the University of Melbourne

The Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre established the first Greek-Australian Travelling Fellowship in Neuropsychiatry, a collaborative initiative between Melbourne Health and the University of Melbourne. The first fully funded fellowship was given to Dr Stefanos Dimitrakopoulos from the University of Athens.Dr Dimitrakopoulos spoke to Maria-Stella Papageorgiou about the past six months he spent in Melbourne, using his training period to develop and contribute to a project that will advance the understanding of brain changes in schizophrenia. He also highlighted that this research fellowship has been a great gift and a unique opportunity for him.
