Greek spelling is difficult ..but English is worse

Associate Professor of Historical Linguistics at the Aristotle University, George Papanastasiou, who is also the Director of the Institute of Modern Greek Studies visited Melbourne recently for the Major teacher training program that was organised by the Education Department of the Greek Community of Melbourne. Mr Papanastasiou spoke to Odysseas Kripotos about the reasons that English spelling is more difficult than the Greek.
