Greek student’s algorithm might put an end to fake news

Valentine Tzekas, a 20-year-old student of computer science at the University of Macedonia, claims that he came up with an algorithm that fact checks every news story, with a success rate of 89 per cent. Through FightHoax.com, Valentine Tzekas hopes to get on board as many news organisations as possible, effectively putting an end to the fake news epidemic. Valentine Tzekas spoke to Sotiris Hatzimanolis.
