Exports of halloumi to Australia have rapidly increased during the last 10 years.Tasos Yiapanis, the Secretary General of the Panagrotikos Association of Cyprus, expects the exports to increase even more, once Australia lifts its quota restriction. Mr Yiapanis, who visited Melbourne for the Fine Food exhibition, told Sotiris Hatzimanolis that the famous Cypriot cheese is very popular in Australia.
