The 28-year-old man who had confessed and been accused of the brutal murder of Courtney Herron was acquitted by psychiatrists and a judge due to schizophrenia. The parents of the 25-year-old girl are doubly devastated, because Courtney's killer will not be convicted, while they will live in her absence forever.
