Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias met with his German counterpart Heiko Maas in Berlin. The two discussed the matter of German compensations for the crimes committed against Greece, during World War 2, Turkey and the refugee flows.
Mr. Maas said that Germany considers the matter has been addressed and is planning to answer the same to Greece’s formal verbe nota.
The Greek minister seems confident however that the matter will be resolved ‘’in the way it that it is right to be solved’’. Mr. Dendias also pointed out that while Greece and Germany might disagree on certain matters, this will not affect their friendly relations.
Among other things the ministers talked about Turkey’s activities in the Eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus and the increased refugee flows.
