The Hellenic RSL will honour the special day, 28 October, in remembrance to all those that served and died in Greece defending our homeland, in WWII. President of the Hellenic RSL, steve Kyristis talks to SBS Greek


 

The Hellenic RSL will honour the Greek National 'OHI' Day this Sunday, 28th of October, in remembrance to all those that served and died in Greece defending our homeland, in World War Two.

At 9:30 am, the event will start with the service at the Agios Eustathios Church (Dorcas street, South Melbourne). 

At 12:00 pm, over 30 Greek and Australian community representatives, will lay wreaths at the Australian Hellenic Memorial (at the corner of Birdwood and Anzac Ave, Domain Gardens), and at the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance, at 1.00 pm.
