Hong Kong: Airport resumes function; Satelite photos show alleged Chinese military in Shenzhen

While Hong Kong has started working, satellite images show alleged Chinese military personnel and armored vehicles gathering in the nearby city of Shenzhen.

While Hong Kong has started working, satellite images show alleged Chinese military personnel and armored vehicles gathering in the nearby city of Shenzhen.


The airport begun working once again on Wednesday, with increased security measures. Most of the protesters have left, save a small group who was allowed to remain in the arrivals halls. 

This follows violent event on Tuesday night, where protesters bound and beat two two people, claiming they were Chinese agents. 

The protesters have apologized for how things turned out in social media.  

The protests in Hong Kong continue.

At the same time, satellite images showing armored vehicles in the nearby Chinese city of Shenzhen. CNN claims that the military presence is the People’s Armed Police Force (PAP), a paramilitary unit usually used to address riots in China.

Chinese state media said that the armed forces are in Shenzhen for scheduled military exercises and their presence is not directly related to the protests in Hong Kong.
