Professor Vrasidas Karalis met Leonard Cohen in Hydra in the 80s. Upon his death professor Karalis spoke to Dina Gerolymou about the man, the music and the poetry which has touched millions around the globe. The genius that was Leonard Cohen influenced generations and left an indelible mark to anyone who came in contact with his songs. Lyricism, darkness, depth, meaning, light and shade like 'a thousand kisses deep' inspired and moved anyone who came in contact with the work of the poet/singer/songwriter/writer who made Greece his second home for over two decades.
