'I was wrong to raise it': Scott Morrison apologises for News Corp harassment claim

The prime minister has apologised for his "insensitive response" to questions about the treatment of women in Parliament House.


Scott Morrison has apologised for his "insensitive" claim that a media organisation was dealing with a harassment complaint within its own office.

Mr Morrison says he deeply regrets his response to questions around workplace behaviour in Parliament House on Tuesday.

During a nationally televised press conference, he claimed News Corp was handling a complaint about a woman being harassed in a female toilet.
