The important role that immigrants hosted in Greece can play in addressing the demographic problem of the country, emphasises the Assistant Professor at the University of Patras, Eugenia Arvaniti.
Dr. Evgenia Arvaniti had studied and worked for many years in Melbourne where she dealt with issues of immigration and promotion of the Greek language in the diaspora, through her capacity as the Director of the Center for Community History and Education of RMIT University of Melbourne.
Dr. Arvanitis spoke to SBS Greek, highlighting the importance that immigrants hosted in Greece could play in addressing the demographic problem of the country.
