Iran seizes British tanker

Iran's Revolutionary Guards have seized a British Tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, saying that the ship was breaching international maritime rules.

The seizing of the ship has caused anger in London, with Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt calling the act ''unacceptable''. The secretary warned that if the ship is not released quickly then «there would serious consequences».
