In 2012, a car accident made Kelly end up in a wheelchair. Today, Kelly Loufaki is a champion in fencing, being able to take the bronze medal at the World Championships that took place in Canada, the first medal ever for women’s fencing for Greece.

The 35 year old champion spoke to Stergos Kastelloriou for her success, the challenges she faces in her daily life and her efforts to win the respect of the others in a country not so hospitable for people with special needs.
