'Ketamine is the only thing that saved me': Depression sufferer

A new clinical trial has revealed a low-cost version of ketamine can help treat severe depression. It found more than one in five people achieved total remission from their symptoms after a month of injections.


A new clinical trial which took place in Australia and New Zealand has found a low-cost version of ketamine is effective in treating severe or treatment-resistant depression.

The trial was lead by the University of Sydney and the Black Dog Institute, and was funded by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council.
