Greek superstar Konstantinos Argiros has given back to Melbourne’s cultural community during his Australian tour, donating $150,000 from his sold-out concert at Margaret Court Arena to the Hellenic Museum

The funds will support the creation of the Museum’s Children’s Gallery, opening in 2026 — the first of its kind in Australia, offering young audiences interactive ways to explore Greek history, language and mythology.

Argiros said his goal is to leave a cultural footprint wherever he performs:
“It’s important to preserve and share Hellenism across the world. We have one of the greatest cultures globally — from philosophy and mathematics to music — and the more we support and protect it, the more valuable it becomes.”

Museum Director Sarah Craig praised the initiative:

“This invaluable gift will help us create a space where children can see, hear and touch the stories that shaped our world. It’s about making learning come alive for future generations.”

The donation highlights how music, heritage and generosity can work together to build lasting cultural legacies in Australia.
