Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has promised to establish a centre for disease control if Labor wins government at the next federal election.


Anthony Albanese has declared Labor is switching strategy as he vowed to establish a centre for disease control if he wins the next federal election.

The federal opposition leader will use budget week to springboard towards greater policy clarity after being reluctant to make announcements too far from the next poll.

An Albanese Labor government would set up a disease control centre to strengthen Australia's preparedness for future pandemics.
