A report looking at the cultural makeup of Australia's news and current affairs industry reveals reporters, presenters and commentators are of predominately Anglo-Celtic background.


Produced by academics and Media Diversity Australia, the report recommends employers do more to ensure newsrooms are more reflective of Australian society.

Media Diversity Australia and academics from several Australian universities have examined cultural diversity in Australia's news and current affairs industry.
