The Greek and Arabic worlds have been in contact for millennia on the shores of the Mediterranean and neighbouring lands, each creating multiple regional cultures. More in this interview that Dr Alfred Vincent gave to Themi Kallos.


This event presents a selection of songs and poetry which illustrate this diversity in unity, unity in diversity, featuring the Andalus Arabic Choir and orchestra directed by Ghada Daher-Elmowy, and songs from many parts of the Greek world performed by Marina Thiveos. Readings by Christine Kanellakis. Introduced by Alfred Vincent. Date: Sunday 7 May
