Meet the Greek who makes wheels for animals in need

We all know the existence of wheelchairs for people. However, a Greek plumber decided to dedicate himself to the manufacture of hand-made wheelchairs for disabled animals. Meet Vassilis Tzigouras, who has given "wheels" to dogs, cats, ducks, bunnies, turtle, wild boar, and even a wounded bear!

Sufferings or accidents can cause paralysis not only in humans but in every kind of living being. These animals lose the ability to move independently and enjoy freedom of movement.

For disabled people, wheelchairs are widespread. For the animals no. This void was covered with much love and passion by Vasilis Zigouras. He was a plumber in the profession and his hands were always good with constructions. When he realized how many animals needed wheelchairs, he changed his profession and now he deals exclusively with the manufacture of hand-made carts for quadrupeds and more.

In the years he constructs his wheel creations he has helped not only dogs and cats, which are favorite pets but also bunnies, ducks, turtles, a wild boar and even a bear!

Orders for handmade wheels for animals have been received from many countries, even from India. Recently he was contacted from Australia, for an injured male goat. Each construction is unique and adapts to the needs and size of the disabled animal.
