Negative impacts on Greek Australian families are expected to have the construction of the new North East Link motorway in Melbourne.
Many Greeks living in the Bulleen area of Melbourne, are worried that their homes will be lost due to the construction of the North East Link highway motorway.
Mike Zafeiropoulos, a municipal councilor at Manningham, said that due to the construction of the new highway, 1200 jobs will be lost, 15,000 trees will be eradicated and the land of the Hellenic Community of Melbourne in Bulleen will be seized.
