Mobile phones banned in NSW high schools

The state government has moved to ban the use of mobile phones in New South Wales' public schools.


Following a decision by the Mines Government, students in New South Wales secondary schools will not be allowed to use their mobile phones during school hours.

State Premier Chris Means said parents are concerned about their children texting and using social media during school.
