Mount Lykaio in Arcadia "reveals " it’s secrets

Excavation work in the Mount Lykaio region, namely the Sanctuary of Zeus in the southwest of Arcadia, has revealed human activity from the Neolithic Age. The area was considered sacred land by the ancient Greeks as the birthplace of the king, born of Olympian gods, Zeus.
