At a recent forum by ECCV Dr Bulent Hass Dellal, director of the Australian Multicultural Foundation and SBS's chairman spoke about inclusiveness in a multicultural society, the challenges for the ethnic communities and the cooperation between new and emerging communities and the established communities.
"We are a diverse nation of all forms of diversity and really it's inclusiveness is a choice in the sense that it's up to us on how we participate, how we contribute and how we make our contributions to creating a socially inclusive society." said dr Dellal.
"That is our choice and what’s fortunate is we have that choice to be able to practice that. The fact is that we are diverse but we as a nation have also the choice to be inclusive. We have all these opportunities before us to be able to participate and make a valuable contribution to advancing Australia." he said talking to SBS Greek who attended the forum.
