A new report by the International Red Cross has found natural disasters affected more than 2 billion people around the world over the past decade.
The report cites a need to invest more in organisations working on the frontlines of the disasters to help the millions of people being left behind when crises strike.
Major flooding in China and India. Landslides in Sierra Leone. Catastrophic bushfires from Australia to the United States. Earthquakes, hurricanes, volcano eruptions and deadly cold snaps.
Last year had it all, a year that included 335 natural disasters which affected over 95 million people and killed almost 10,000.
