Oruc Reis, accompanied by Turkish warships, remains close to Greek island of Kastellorizo (Kas). Greece will raise the issue at the forthcoming European Council on October 15th and 16th and speaks of a direct threat to peace and security. The German Foreign Minister, who is currently visiting Greece and then Cyprus, canceled his visit to Turkey.
