Olympiacos beats AEK in the derby and remains at the top

Olympiacos was the winner of the derby with AEK this morning (AEST) and remains at the top of the Greek Superleague.

The match was tightly contested, however at the end the home team managed to prevail at the “Georgios Karaiskakis” ground. Other winners today were Atromitos, Aris Salonica and Larisa, which claimed a great victory against Panathinaikos.

 

The results are:

 

Panathinaikos- Larisa 1-2

Atromitos- Panionios 4-0

Aris- Panaitolikos 2-0

Olympiacos- AEK 2-0

Volos0 PAOK 0-2

OFI- Xanthi 2-0

Asteras Tripolis faces tomorrow morning (Tue) Lamia.

 

Olympiacos has 22 points and PAOK 20. OFI climbed to  the third spot with 16 and Xanthi dropped 4^th with 15. AEK is 5^th with 14 and Larisa 6^th with 12.
